Teaching Areas
Professor Linowes teaches business policy and strategy, entrepreneurship, global leadership, cross-cultural management, quality management and business ethics. He teaches the capstone course Business Policy and Strategy to seniors as well as Entrepreneurship, Global Leadership, Managing Change and Innovation to undergraduates, and he teaches international strategic change, entrepreneurship and cross-cultural management to MBAs and executives. He also teaches in the AU/NTL "Executive Program in Organization Development" of the School of Public Administration.

Cross-cultural management, strategic leadership, teaching innovations, globalization, business in emerging markets, Japanese business, cultural impacts of economic development
Publications
Professor Linowes' work has been published in Harvard Business Review, Academy of Management Executive, Journal of International Management, Journal of Management Education, East Asia: International Review of Political, Economic and Social Development, Journal of East-West Management and four casebooks, Portraits of Business Practices in Emerging Markets, Volumes 1-4.

Additional Experiences
Dr. Linowes was an examiner for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award and Kogod Outstanding Faculty Member of the Year. He was a Fulbright Scholar to New Zealand for pedagogical innovation. He teaches on a recurring basis in the Middle East and Eastern Europe. Prior to joining the faculty, Linowes was an executive with Goldman Sachs (NY), Accenture (DC), and Matsushita Electric Industrial Co. (Osaka, Japan).
